New Carpet and Hooks!

The cupboard renovation is nearly there! 

The door and skirting boards have had another coat of paint and to be honest could do with another:

The old green carpet has been replaced:

The cream carpet was a left over remnant from the carpet we had fitted in our bedroom last year, we just took out the old green carpet and used it as a template to cut the new one with a Stanley knife. 

Then we screwed the iron holder we bought from Ikea last week and one of the garden tool hooks we bought from Wilkinson's this weekend to hang the ironing board on:

So now we have a nice little place for the iron and the ironing board to live on the back of the cupboard door. 

Last jobs to do tomorrow to finish the whole project off are:

1. Give the door one last coat of paint
2. Put some more hooks up inside the cupboard
3. Put a shelf inside the cupboard
4. Get a knew door knob and attach it to the door
5. Put all the stuff back in and make it messy again! ;)
